Our Process
This piece is to-be-restored by Vintage Source. We will reupholster the piece in the fabric of your choosing and professionally restore the woodwork, while making any necessary repairs to the frame. The sale price includes repair, restoration, and upholstery labor along with the piece itself. The cost of fabric is in addition to the piece, and can be ordered through Vintage Source.
Project lead times may vary based on work-flow, but are typically between 3 and 7 months. Please contact info@vintagesourcekc.com for an accurate lead time on the specific project.
The Piece
Danish pod chair in purple. Features the enveloping, sculptural form that became popular in mid-century modern design. The pod form is both comfortable and visually striking. Purple upholstery adds bold color. A fun, distinctive vintage accent chair with Scandinavian roots.
The manufacturer is unknown but the piece was likely made in the late 1960s.
